Learn or polish your dancing skills in the friendly atmosphere of our classes. Share the joys of Scottish dancing and pageantry at our parties and Highland Balls. All welcome! No experience necessary! Come with or without a partner.
Fall 2019 classes. Brand-new dancers and continuing basic class dancers are welcome to once again take advantage of our great deal on a series of classes starting on September 12 (we'll be accepting new dancers through September 19 for anyone who can't make the first week). The full series is $60/person, no previous experience needed, and is held in the Community Center at St. Bart's (109 East 50th Street, Manhattan). See the classes page or the flyer for more info. See you then!
Summer 2019 dancing. The NY Branch will be dancing informally on Thursdays from June 27th through August 22 (excluding July 4), 7:30pm-10:00pm. These are drop-in sessions focused on doing dances and will include limited basic instruction, so they are open only to dancers who already have some country dance experience (such as English, contra, or square dance). Location is the regular class site (St. Bart's). Summer rates are:
$10/evening RSCDS NY member
$85/10-class dance card (must be a member)
